The PENTA Building Group is searching for a Senior Analyst, Finance and Treasury to join our team in Las Vegas, NV!

The Senior Analyst, Finance and Treasury, facilitates daily treasury operations, provides accurate cash reporting and assists with bank structure management and some risk management activities. They support the organization by providing financial reporting and analysis to support key decisions and conducting and documenting financial analysis projects, data gathering, manipulation, summarization, and analysis of financial reports, activities, trends, and opportunities.

A PENTA Senior Analyst, Finance and Treasury is also responsible for:

Financial Planning and Forecasting

  • Own the cash forecasting process and recommend funding strategies to optimize working capital.
  • Monitor actual performance against budget and forecasts, identifying variances and providing explanations and revisions to management.
  • Monitor daily cash positions and manage short-term liquidity to meet operational needs.
  • Develop financial models and scenarios to support strategic initiatives and decision-making.

 

Financial Analysis and Reporting

  • Identify trends, risks, and opportunities and recommend actionable strategies.
  • Ensure reporting systems and source data are accurate and complete and reconciled with support and variance analysis.
  • Assist in timely preparation of daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting, as well as ad hoc financial analysis / special projects.
  • Work with ERP system and leverage business intelligence (BI) tools.

 

Banking and Financial Institution Relationships

  • Maintain relationships with banking partners, ensuring efficient account structures and services.
  • Assist in the negotiation and implementation of banking agreements and fee structures.
  • Oversee bank account administration, including account openings, closings, and signatory updates.

 

Debt and Investment Management

  • Track and manage the organization’s debt portfolio, ensuring compliance with loan covenants.
  • Analyze investment opportunities and recommend strategies to maximize returns while managing risk.

 

We trust that you have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business, management, or finance required.
  • MBA or advanced degree in accounting, finance, or another related field preferred.
  • Four to six years of experience in accounting or finance.
  • Certifications (CPA, FPAC, CFA, CTP) a plus but not required.
  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint and other MS Office Suite skills.
  • Advanced financial modeling, forecasting, and data analysis skills, including proficiency with financial modeling and other modern financial business tools.
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP a plus.
  • Knowledge of finance and treasury principles.
  • Ability to work independently and with a team.
  • Knowledge and familiarity with construction processes, practices, and procedures a plus.
  • Strong verbal and written communication.

  • Proactive attitude and solutions-based approach.
  • Demonstrated ability to adapt well to changes in assignments and priorities.
  • Proven ability to adapt behavior or work methods in response to new information or conditions.

  • This is an exempt position and does not qualify for overtime pay. 
  • Periodic travel may be required. 
  • Regularly required, in an 8-hour day, to sit for 5-8 hours; stand/walk/move around for 1-4 hours.
  • Lifting 15 pounds occasionally with occasional sitting and frequent standing/walking.
  • Able to access and navigate offices and jobsites.
